Lacy Jade Pendant & Necklace

This delicate lace-like pendant made with actual traditional lace-making techniques, using 28 ga hair-thin wire. The center is a rectangular jade bead surrounded by jade and aventurine beads. The necklace holding the pendant is made half of jade/aventurine links and half with chain towards the back. The pendant measures 1 1/8" wide.

Design: it started as a purely rectangular design. However, as I was planning the execution, the shape of the beads around the center started to acquire the look of petals (right side sketch), making the entire pendant softer, more delicate and with rounded corners.

The size of the necklace can be modified: please let me know the exact measurement of your preferred necklace length when ordering for perfect fitting.
