Luxury Garnet Bangle

This bangle was created for the Year of Jewelry project, during week 14. The theme for that week was Heart's Desire: I felt that a luxurious bracelet, made with gemstone quality blood-red garnets was appropriate.

The keyword here is "luxury", defined in the dictionary as follows:

1. Something inessential but conducive to pleasure and comfort.
2. Something expensive or hard to obtain.
3. Sumptuous living or surroundings: lives in luxury.

The bracelet was totally hand-coiled with more than 18 feet of hair-thin sterling silver wire, mixing rectangular AAA gemstone-quality pillow garnets with Balinese silver.  The bangle measures 1/2" wide and fits 6.5 to 7.5 wrists.
