Tip:

To create really cool chandelier earrings, add tiny loops on to each side of the last and final frame around the bead. Then add drops from all three bottom loops.

Tutorial 005: Herringbone Weave

 

Level: Intermediate

 

 

This is the famous and very popular Herringbone Weave, which has this name thanks to the pattern formed by the wires crossing along the top and bottom shanks.

 

Materials needed for each link:

  • one 3/4" to 1.5" round bead
  • 2.5 feet of 26 or 28 ga wire (dead soft)
  • 6" 20 to 24 ga wire (dead soft or h-hard)
