FSOJ 2006 Week 38 - Aquamarine Heart

Before I left on vacation during April, I promised myself that when I came back I would try my hand at incorporating some ladder weaves into my pieces. These ladder weaves are really popular now, especially with the younger crowd who create more freeform, organic-looking pieces.

The necklace was created as commission for a person who owns several of my pieces, and I was given free reign on what to create -- paradise for a jewelry designer!

You're work has inspired me for years. I think a part of your soul must go into each piece, because something shines from every one of them. thank you for sharing, and teaching, and continuing to create beauty.
