YOJ 2007 Week 23 - Blue Green Turtle

Some time ago I received a request to make a pendant with tourmalines and a turtle. Well, I finally found time to make it, but I can't locate the interested party! Either way, it's all good. This piece reminds me of a lagoon, with green and blue waves. The tiny sea turtle seems to swim effortlessly and peacefully through it. Tourmalines, green garnet, apatite, topaz. To see more pictures of this piece, go to Blue Green Lagoon with Turtle Necklace.

It's gorgeous, all the colours of a summer sea as well as a turtle. If I didn't already have a turtle-tourmaline pendant of yours I would be very interested :-)

Eni,
I grew up in Bermuda and this pendant reminds me so much of home! You really captured the colors of tropical waters. I also like the interesting armature construction beneath. It's like a web. Great work! I can hear the ocean from here!
