Hi Eni! I think this pendant is very pretty! It feels very soothing when I look at it, very peaceful... I really like the vine details too - I've always liked those in Magda's pieces as well.

Beautiful pendant ... the depth of color of the topaz & amethyst stones around the edges brings warmth to the trapped chalcedony, pretty by itself. Along with the curvy gold vines in Magda-style (which I am a fan of), these soften and add a warmth to the chalcedony, which by itself might appear as cold, straight, unyielding. The uneven shape and appearance of the border stones & vine also convey the warmth, as does the simple chain, which does not have any large stones to compete with the chalcedony.
