Tiara Fit for a Queen

I am dying to try this tutorial of a tiara by Rachael Delaney (and presented by JewelryLessons.com). I don't really have an excuse and don't have a potential client, but something about the heart filigree is just catching my attention. Maybe I can just adapt the filigree pattern into a pendant or a neckpiece... it's just SOOOO pretty.

Bookmarking and Sharing

One of the very requested features at Jewelrylessons.com was to add a Bookmark and Sharing button. Now it's done! Users can bookmark their favorite pages to their web browser's Favorite section, send a link to a friend via email, or even more fun: share a specific article, tutorial, Q&A, tip and even a gallery project with any social website they belong to.

My personal favorite social and sharing websites are Facebook, Digg and Stumbleupon, but the new bookmark button offers dozens of different sites under the option "More". Users must be registered at the sites they plan to share, but usually registration is free (as it is in JewelryLessons.com).

Read more about this here: Bookmark and Share pages at JewelryLessons.com.

JewelryLessons.com: Categories and Organizing

Today I worked on organization and categories at JewelryLessons.com. It seems that as the site grows, new categories need to be created and others need to be deleted. The sub-categories inside "Marketing & Selling" were divided and some spread out into the new "Internet & Software" category.

Also, after only a couple of weeks of trying out the new category "Off topic", I decided to remove it and start a new Facebook group to support JewelryLessons.com Friends instead.
At the Facebook members people can socialize, while keeping the valuable information pertinent to Jewelry Making posted at the site.
