Tutorial 015: Framed Donut Pendant

Level: Intermediate

 

You never know what to do with those donuts: well here's an opportunity to make it look a bit dressier: learn how to create a bezel around a flat donut to be used as a pendant. Looks great with ethnic necklace designs.

 

Materials needed for each pendant:

  • 1-foot 24-ga or 22-ga wire (dead soft or half-hard)
  • 2 to 3-feet 26-ga or 28-ga wire (dead soft)
  • 1 1/2-inch wide donut (stone or glass)
  • 12 2-mm or 3-mm silver beads
  • various stone and silver beads for dangles and necklace.
