This magnificent unicorn pendant was designed and created by jewelry artist Sandra Hendrickson for the Fantasy, Myth & Magic competition held by the WWJ (Wire Wrapped Jewelry newsgroup) in 2006. The pendant won

Materials for pendant:
13" 21 gauge square half-hard wire
10 feet 24 gauge square half-hard wire
30 feet 28 gauge round dead soft wire
9 feet 26 gauge round dead soft wire
1 thin natural quartz crystal, approximately 1-½" long
Twelve 3-4 mm freshwater pearls, peach color (make sure the hole is large enough to fit onto 24 gauge square wire)
Three 6mm white pearls
Two 2mm silver beads
Five clear 4mm bicone Swarovski crystals
One black 3-4 mm faceted or round bead for the eye
Note: besides regular pliers (chain nose, round nose, flat nose), you will also need a pin vise in order to twist wire.
