Eni Oken's Art Raffle is based on my successful "Bijou Raffle" lesson: pull out random cards with tangle patterns and art enhancers to inspire you to create Zentangle® like you never have done before.
In this beautifully elegant digital version, you start with 8 blank slots and can pull up cards randomly selected from a collection curated and prepared specially selected. The cards have a mix of tangle patterns, art enhancers and strings.
If that weren't enough, you can also ENLARGE and ZOOM into the cards for closer inspection.

But that's just the beginning, this digital version does so much more than the traditional game! Flip the card over to view the BACK OF EACH CARD which contains information about the specific tangle or art enhancer: step-outs, descriptions, links to samples and lessons.
The game is so soothing and addictive you'll find yourself perusing the cards randomly just to learn more about them!
ELEGANT GESTURAL COMMANDS
The app was designed to behave as closely to the real raffle game as possible. Gestures such as flicking, tapping and zooming make this game super fun to play. You can even move the cards around!
Search for your favorite cards
If you have favorite tangles or enhancers, you can search for the cards and add them to your raffle game. This is especially helpful if you want to participate in one of the many online challenges: just pin the selected tangles first, and fill up the rest of the game with random cards.
SAVE RAFFLE GAMES
You can save raffle games for later and create as many raffles as you like. Rename and edit the raffle games, discard cards or add different ones.
Works on ipad, iphone and mac
The app was designed to work on both iPad and iPhone, and there is also an Apple Mac version. For some time we also carried an Android version (until version 1.29), but that platform proved to be so difficult, with so many devices and technical issues, that we discontinued it for good. So sorry!!!

Yes, that's right, it's entirely free. The Zentangle world has quite literally saved my life after battling stage 4 cancer. Today I am stable health wise and teach hundreds of students through my video lessons and live online classes via my Art Club, and this occupation fills my life with indescribable joy. This app, which took many months to develop, is my profound and sincere THANK YOU gift to this loving and nurturing artistic community!

This app was skillfully developed and programmed by Blind View Studios, through the expert hands of Alan Thomson (who happens to be my husband). It was through his quiet patience and perseverance, brilliant coding and hundreds of hours of development on his spare time that this deceivingly simple and elegant app came to materialize. Together we spent many, many, many hours testing, developing and designing this app. I am forever indebted to his eternal and unwavering support of my work.
What can you share with the app?
You may share screenshots of the app on social media for your own personal use, as long as the images are UNCROPPED AND VISIBLY SHOW THE WORDS ENI OKEN'S ART RAFFLE. Additionally, proper attribution is always required, such as “Captured from Eni Oken's Art Raffle app”.

May 2020, version 1.4: The app now has 233 active cards and now works on the Mac computer as well! The Zoom pinch feature is disabled on the Mac but you can enlarge the window to any size. The back of the card was also widened to make it easier to see on smaller devices.
