Lollywimple and Distress

Ok, since I really botched Lollywimple (deconstructed by Sandy Hunter here) the first time around, I figured I'd try again. Still playing with the Distress inks and markers:

I am SOOOO enjoying working with the distress inks -- and guess what? I discovered that THE PAPER was causing some issues -- paper plays a huge role in helping the media. Of course, how could I forget!

Here is the final picture again, all done using a paintbrush and distress brush markers.

I used only three colors of distress ink and only three tangles: Marasu, Baton and Lollywimple.
