Stylized Da Vinci Sketchpage on Phi
As part of my new class Da Vinci Zendala (inspired by Leonardo Da Vinci and Zentangle’s ZenAgain 2021 class), I started to play with a tan Phi tile, working the background and adding some of Da Vinci's little sketches. You can find a ton of his pages here.
When I showed this to my Art Clubbers, they asked me to post a video on how to make it, so I included it as a supplemental video the Da Vinci Zendala.

I think what really makes these two pieces fun is the overall distress done using colored pencils. Super fun and easy. Here's a closer shot:

This is Jenice Kee's Jeweled Garden, part of Zentangle Beyond Language event. Halfway through, silly me decided to add a hatched ribbon, leaving no room for the other tangles! I like the result anyway, THANK YOU Jenice for a fantastic project.
